Quick Question!
« on: March 13, 2013, 06:35:19 pm »
Guys,

I know I need xenons enabled through VCDS software once installed, I understand all that fully.

But the question I have is what's the software that main dealers have? Because that's where I'm getting them fitted due to a relative working there.

But wasn't sure wether they have VCDS software or different?

Is there software ok to enable xenons?

Not required but must work if you do have them. Same with levellers.

Main dealers use VAS, not VCDS.

VAS can do anything.

I think vas can only recode mileage if clocks current mileage is below a certain amount, something like 300 miles.
Think its to reduce clocking cars.
I found this at my local indy who have vas system when I wanted to fit a new set of clocks.

Might be getting things mixed up though. Lol.
