I like valet pro ph neutral snow foam ...not expensive , dosn't strip the wax off and must be kept in house or room temp before use in winter as its like lumpy porridge otherwise lol

+1 for advanced neutral snow foam. I use it as a pre wash through a cheap pump sprayer though. Great stuff and lasts ages.

Valet Pro seems to be popular on Detailing World. I use Auto Finesse Avalanche which is fairly good, but not as thick as others. I like that though, as to be honest, I don't really rate the snow foam process and think its a bit over rated. With Avalanche being the consistency it is, it doesn't dwell too long, so really just use this as a pre-wash, which suits my needs fine.

Here's some of a recent clean I gave the Wife's mini (power wash, avalanche for 5 min, power wash).

Before (4 weeks worth of country road driving):

During (shows the runny consistency as this was only after a minute of so)

After:

Megs hyperwash is another one that seems to get decent enough reviews, even though it's not actually a dedicated snow foam.

Head over to Detailing World - heaps of threads and opinons over there!!  :happy2:

Even using dodo juice born to be mild works well in a foam lance! Plus you can then use it again in your two bucket wash stage! Save buying two products as its an awesome shampoo! Just an option for you

I use chemical guys no touch snowfoam it's results outperform all the others I've tried everything. Magifoam, Magifoam blue, avalanche etc and you only have to leave it to dwell 10 mins and there's hardly any dirt left, I use it as a no contact wash in the winter as well.

Does anyone know if the VP has a use by date? Mine seems to have separated, it has been in the garage a while though. Will a shake cure it or better to buy new?

It's the cold that's made it separate. Bring it inside the house and leave it to warm up for a few hours. A shake should then mix everything back up just fine.
