Want to give this a go myself. How does the logging work? Do you start logging and then you need a clear (private) road to give it the beans in 3rd and 4th?

You can log the torque using VCDS then Horsepower = Torque x rpm / 5252.
Probably slightly more accurate than logging the MAF values.
