Hoping someone can help me with this.. Had my wheel geo setup last week all within VW spec. I left the garage which carried out the four wheel geo setup and noticed my steering wheel was offset to the left, for the car to drive straight. If I hold the wheel dead straight the car will veer off to the the right.
Called the garage up the day after and told him about the problem. He told me to give it a 100 miles or so as the tyres may have worn unevenly causing the issue. I gave it almost 200 miles and went back today to have the car checked over again...
The car was setup and showed up on the computer as no faults and everything within VW spec. The tech told me the issue maybe the cars, electric steering wheel angle sensor may need re-calibrated??? Never heard this before, does this sound right???
I've used this garage many times and had no issues before. The cars never been in an accident and aligned up perfect 5-6 times before at the same garage. The machine he uses is a Jim Bean? And it's a proper 4 wheel geo setup...
Can anyone recommend what I should do next?
