So its a Samsung Galaxy S3 with a bigger screen and a spec bump. Looks exactly like the S3, and now its even harder to differentiate from the Note II.

I think its a very odd decision, and surely can only mean that the next version of the Note will be even bigger.

Screen does look lovely though, colleague has an Xperia Z, and 5" Full HD is great to look at. But i cannot use the phone with one hand. Its monstrous.

Links are broken because its not live anymore  :happy2:

Yea I would say screen is tad large. But iPhone is way too small. No cool features. So limited.
I may switch

I love the screens on Android devices, but iOS is such a better user experience for me. The hardware isnt enough alone for the change. I dont personally like Android. Got an S3 a couple of months ago, to see if i could live without iOS, but found the S3 to have shocking battery life and the OS still too clunky for me. Also, the web browsing experience on an Android phone is nowhere near as smooth, and its primarily what i use my phone for.

I did like the way the S3 felt and like i said, the screen was so much better.

I really hope Apple start using some of their massive cash reserves to innovate more, and change the designs of their phone with every generation. Its too predictable to have a step in the life of a phone, with just a minor spec bump now. They need to do more to keep up with the likes of Sony, HTC and Samsung.

All this competition can only mean good things for the consumer though. Choice is good, and drives innovation. Lets hope Apple learn.

I'm kinda bored of iOS. Nothing new and clunky. Just big buttons.
No widgets even.
I guess I'll only know after using one for awhile.

Yeah cannot believe apple have not sorted that yet. I have had the S2 for the past 18 months and I love the widgets and don't think I can live without them now. Plus I scratched my iPhone itch with the 3GS and now have an iPad for my apple fix :P

Looking to get either the Xperia Z or the S4 next :happy2:

Before my iPhone 5, I had a Sony Xperia X10, at the time it was a great phone, but the touch screen was flaky compared to the iPhone, the camera was about the same as the iPhone 4 (not great), battery life was worse.  Having said that, Android phones have moved on A LOT since then.  It's definitely a case of go and play with these things before making your decision, see which one suits YOU rather than what other people recommend for you. :happy2:

I'm tempted by the HTC One that came out today. Had an iPhone for the best part of 4 years and fancy a change. The One seems to tick all the boxes for me, though I've never used Android. Still got an iPad for the Apple fix, facetime etc. Was waiting to see what the S4 offered but as most have said, seems likey simply a spec bump and nothing earth shattering.

Anyone any experience of the new HTC One (appreciate it only came out today!).

Re. the widgets, I guess you're either going to like that or not. I personally think it looks awful and far too busy/complicated.
