DV question
« on: March 15, 2013, 01:33:39 pm »
I keep seeing these threads about people changing the DV on there GTI's.

I was wondering if there is similar issues/easy fix on the PD170 engines? Had mine since November and is on 80k so I wouldn't know if there is some power loss anywhere.

if its on 80k, just get it checked / changed. you can tell if your 1st gear seems a little edgy off the line or hear some whistling noise.

I had a massive power increase once getting mine changed.  :happy2:

It's different for different turbos

I believe its above the wheel arch for K03 and under bonnet for K04
