New member/ owner of Edition 30 saying hi!

hi all, went and put down a deposit on an 08 red edition 30 yesterday, only went for a quick test drive to see what they were like and fell in love so bought it basically lol. will be picking it up later this week when the dealer has sorted tyres and brakes and one or two other bits for me but i cant wait, currently own a 2.- tdi s line A3 which should be going today. so thought id just pop by and say hello! :)

also wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction of some useful guide for the following...

It currently has the standard cd player in a at the minute and would like sat nab, possibly the newest one i can get

cruise control installation

Aux installation

and i would like to get one of the ltd edition plaques too.

Welcome on board.   

Everything can be retrofitted so no biggy. RNS 510 headunit is now available with DAB but are not the cheapest, anything above the revision C (LED ones) is good. Cruise is a simple fit, lots of peeps on here will be able to fit and code these bits for you.

As to guides, have a look in the "How to" section or post a question in the appropriate thread/area.

cheers guys, yeah I'm not fussed about DAB being fitted so the newest one before that will do but im unsure what model i have in at the minute its just got silver buttons? iv had a look in the how to section but couldn't rally find a solid guide just odd bits here and there but i will post a thread when i am going to do it, i can fit it all myself just need some guidance and may purchase vcds to do it myself.
