DSG Oil Service- When and Where?

Hey up fellas. Im up at 70,000 miles and its on 05 plate. I have looked through the service book and cant see any where that it has been done. What mileage should you get it serviced?

After a small hick up last week, my DSG has been running fine now. Just wondering when and where everyone has got theres done.

Awesome do it for around £140 i think.

Should be done at 40k miles, if it hasn't been done I'm surprised you havnt had anymore problems. Get it done ASAP  :happy2:

Every 40k miles for the DSG service, my local VW dealer have always done mine on the fixed price scheme for £169  :happy2:

I dont know maybe it has. It has full VW service history till 60,000 miles. so im sure it will have but it doesnt say in the service book DSG oil or service. what is the name for it in the service book?

Ring the relevent VW dealer and ask if it's had the dsg service done. If there are any doubts about it being done in the past, just get it done asap.

fwiw I had mine done at Awesome.

Its not written in the service book, you get a separate invoice which proves you had it done.
Same for cambelt

There should be a tick box in the service book for the DSG Service.
Might be better off giving VW customer services a call. they can check what was done at what mileage  :happy2:

yes correct if it was done by a VW dealer, they will have everything logged what they did on the car including all servicing work.
i did mine at 33k just wanted to be on safe side as DSG gets funny creeping upto 40k if not serviced.  even been incidednts of mechatronics packing up,  which may have possibly been saved if DSG service was done.

get yours done for piece of mind.  VW charge £179, and a indie will charge around $150
