Had a few Clios in my time and don't worry about miles just check history and you kind of know if a car has been looked after within a few minutes of viewing

Mods yes but way too many to stick in this little box

Difficult to answer... depends how it's been treated (like any car), go with your gut instinct, and have a good look over the usual areas. :happy2:

You'll need to go straight to stage 1 when you buy one to keep up with your mate :)

They are great cars and very addictive, night and day to a clio (or anything French)

Welcome along.  :drinking:

Have a good look on the forum for a car (in the "For Sale" section), a fair few lovely Eddy's for sale ATM and (generally) when buying from a fellow forum member/enthusiast you know that the car will have been look after and usually maintained above and beyond the requirements.

If your planning on adding more power (torque) then look at getting a DSG car as a manual car may need an uprated clutch, even on Stage 1.

No real issues with buying a high mileage one but make sure it has a full FSH, has had its Cambelt/Waterpump changed at 4 years or 60k miles and has had all the appropriate items regularly changed ie brake fluid, DSG service (if you get a DSG) air con service/re gas etc etc.
