Hi Jonny,

With so much power going through the drive shaft, have you thought whether or not to upgrade it. The main reason I'm asking is that Andy's MK4 R32 with the twin scroll turbo upgrade went through one of the stock drive shafts with less than 600bhp. Yes, I know the MK4 is different to the MKV and S3, but it may be worth considering. :happy2:

Power doesn't really have the bearing on things breaking anywhere near as much as torque, and more importantly the way that torque is applied on a turbo car.. I dont know if this was really taken into consideration when mapping Andys R32 as its so aggressive, fast yes, but its proof that it keeps on over and over again breaking parts..

Mine will be mapped how I want it, and I would far rather have a slightly slower car that holds together for more than a week at a time than a torque monster.

Nope, its having a screamer which will exit the other side of the prop.. There is room to route it back in if we decide to go that route..

Maybe have some more pics later but probs get some up tomorrow night now..

As far as I know the engine with all the bits is in the car to stay now, downpipe is being built and once thats done its basically just a case of bolting it all back together..

Its going to be early next week before its done now which means unfortunately I wont be at ED38 with the car

It was 114db last time.. With screamer open I can't even imagine how loud it would be, getting on for 125-127 I think! Its not really going to get driven on the track to be honest.. Dont have any interest in driving my own road cars round circuits..
