Its aliveeeee!!!!!

This is the first start, pretty impressive how quickly it fires hey! All seems perfect, was struggling to hold an idle due to the DV not being routed back into the intake, so the MAF readings will have been all over the place..

Few bits and bobs to do now..

* Tidy up a couple of bits in the engine bay
* Fit PCV system
* Finish intake and DV pipe work
* Fit brakes
* Set suspension up
* Fit seats and sort out the interior
* Go for the first drive and take some logs!!

That should all be done around lunch time so then I can get some miles onto it!

Sounds absolutely amazing!! You can tell its been played with put it that way!!

Ill get a proper update up tomorrow with the finished build pics and some first impressions!!

P6 quali, up to P2 in the first 30 mins then a puncture.. But fastest GT2 car most of the time we were out.. Then 2 hours from the end a gearbox failure.. Oh well.. Without the puncture I think I could have caught and passed for the lead which would have been nice.. Dont have much luck with that car! ha..

Nice one mate,when does the mapping start!

Well the base file was put on today, very low boost, no timing advance and running pretty rich.. Just to run in, then we will explore on that once the initial break in is done..

Im very busy for the next 4 weeks so nothing much will happen then but come first week in October ill be going down to Revo for a couple of days and we will sort it out and get a file done specifically for my car..

Can't stress enough how much that video does the sound no justice what so ever! I was shocked how nice it sounds!  :smiley:

Cheapo oil, 30 miles. New oil and filter, run in on no boost, 500 miles varied engine speeds, long runs no full throttle or big load requests. New oil and filter then thrash it!  :wink:

Hehehe, and knowing how keen you are to get this all bedded in that will be 500 miles in one stint behind the wheel  :happy2:
