Yeah I recognised the S3 when you were in the layby on the bypass. The red wheels were a give away!!
I made it a mission to get you to bite and give her some beans.
Its loud but sweet!!!!!
To be fair Im not into loud exhausts but its got a sound all of its own....RUDE!!!
By the way just after Windlebridge your car kicked up any amounts of crap off the road onto my bonnet.
Was that wheelspin or your exhaust? Someone told me you have a screamer pipe but have never heard of them before.
Either way that thing sounds like a beast.

Sorry about that.. The screamer exits just behind the block and is fired down onto the road, so that will kick up quite a bit of s*it most probably..

The sound is the waste gate screamer, it sounds pretty insane!!

Quick update..

Went from 1.50 bar boost to 1.65 and now the car is A LOT faster again.. Seriously quick! Still running almost standard AFR and Ignition advance settings..

1.80 bar will be the final boost pressure which brings the turbo right into its optimum efficiency range.. And with the AFR's leaned out and a healthy chunk of timing we should be flying!

All seems good for now.. Already surprised a couple of cars lol.. Some of the reactions are priceless!!

I certainly wont be offering a head to head from 1500 rpm against yours though mate.. Would take a little while to get going ha.. Once it hits 4k its all go though.. Pulls so hard to 8k its untrue! Joys of a bigger turbo.. You do loose ALL of the torque between 1500 and 2500rpm..

Although saying that, we were making 5 psi at 3000 rpm which isnt bad for that size of turbo and 8.5:1 compression..

I have heard the REVO software for the GT30 is great and you shouldnt be getting anywhere near as much lag once its got the correct mapping. I have looked into it myself but couldnt justify the outlay.
If its that fast already it should be truly Rapid with an aggressive tune

With timing and Fuel alone im sure there is probably 20+hp to come top end, but the largest gains will be in response and mid range.. The extra boost top end should make a big difference too!

To be honest it really doesnt have to be any faster for the road, its already pretty silly..

On the MkV Forum there have been quotes of 15 psi by 3000rpm  on REVO software which would completely transform the midrange.
Thats coming from an American site though where figures tend to get exagerated. A LOT
I bet the running in process is torture not using the engines full potential....all part of the fun though i guess!
