Have you decided whether you going to do anything with the low pressure fueling side of things, or see how you go with stock system for time behind and deal with that wall, should you come to it, in the future.

On the MkV Forum there have been quotes of 15 psi by 3000rpm  on REVO software which would completely transform the midrange.
Thats coming from an American site though where figures tend to get exagerated. A LOT
I bet the running in process is torture not using the engines full potential....all part of the fun though i guess!

I can believe it, although that will be on a 3071 turbo for sure and possibly standard compression ratio, I really doubt you could make that kind of boost with the set up I have and the lower compression..

Yup, it is difficult.. But a quick thought in the back of my mind as to how much I have spent on it quickly keeps the throttle to a minimum lol.. The engine has now covered over a thousand miles and really should be 80% bedded in.. Another 500 and it will be done I think..

is that a eurojet diverter valve?

does it have the bit to plug in to, the electrica sender which comes standard on our cupra/s3 engine with remove DV..?

Its actually a Forge Super size DV as part of the BSH DV relocation kit.. We are running a rigged up N75 valve to trick the ECU into thinking there is still the electronic valve in place.. Alternatively you could run it with the standard electronic valve plugged in and tie it out of the way.. But thats pretty ugly!

The LP fuel system is different on the S3 to the ED30 / GTI / Cupra.. The TT-S runs the same system, but as far as knowing what the differences are, and how much effect that actually has on the flow in practice I have no idea.. I would imagine that we will find the limit when the car is at Revo for the proper mapping..

Saying that, at the moment there is a TON of fuel in reserve running 1.65 bar boost, so we may find that its up to the job when running 1.80 bar (which will be where ill be having the boost set for now)

Its a big learning curve with the car, so it will take a little time to get everything 100% sorted, but its certainly getting there!

Just run the pressure and vacuum reference feeds in a loop with some hose and thats it..

Hey..

So today I decided that we should get on and fit the WOT box..

The instructions show lots of electrical tape, dodgy wire cutting and all in all a pretty nasty install..

We went about it in a little bit of a different way.. Just so that you would never know it was there unless you looked for it.. Really pleased with the install and again a big thanks to Andy for his superb work on the car!

Ok so first of all we fed the wires of the loom from the driver side through into the engine bay..



The loom then travelled along the scuttle panel and dropped down out from the stock engine loom grommet on the passenger side..



All of the connections were cut / soldered and sealed with heat shrink for a perfect and reliable connection, no splicing or electrical tape in sight!

OEM loom covers were used for that OEM look in the engine bay and make sure that its all keep away from moisture or heat..




The main WOT box loom then feeds into the driver side dash cubby which the main controller sits, this allows for easy view of the LED to check that the WOT box is first of all armed and ready to go and also operating correctly..



So the results..

Well it works great, we have the launch control set at the standard default of 4000rpm at the minute.. Not tried a launch with the car yet but im sure that will be enough as the car in only on 225/40 Toyo T1-R tyres, so not the most grip..

As for the WOT shift, that works great too.. Again its still set at the default setting which is AUTO mode, we can start to cut down the M/S shift time once I start playing with it, but for now it works great..

The cut is way too long, but it does re engage power with no loss of boost, so its still a benefit over conventional shifting..

That’s about it for now! Still working away with the long list of bits that im wanting to do on the car and its all still running brilliantly..

Love the WOT box such a cheap and effective mod, but the only reason i havnt got it yet is down to the wiring instructions ! cutting and splicing etc

Ooooh nice :) I read about something like this years ago.  Demon tweaks did / do a system that does that.
