Toasty..

Na seriously, the Zircoflex matting from Zircotec is VERY impressive stuff and is doing a great job, the whole of the area surrounding the turbo is covered in the stuff and the prop also has pretty good airflow so its not a problem, even though there isnt much room.. That was something that I was pretty worried about to be honest but all seems good  :happy2:

Nope, and to e honest I don't think I'll probaby bother.. It's go more than enough power to provoke 2nd gear wheel spin in the dry, so you can imagine it's feeling a little more alive now..

In the wet it's pretty mad, In a straight line it will loose traction in 3rd, 4th on the exit of a corner..

Also it launches lovely so don't really think I need it..

Is this your daily driver now Jonny, or was your ED30 fattened back up for that?

Can the S3 still be driven in a somewhat docile manner if you need to (you know: loaf of bread, pint of milk), or is it a case of "2000 rpm nothing... 3000rpm nothing.... 4000rpm MY GOD GET OUT OF THE WAY!!"?
You surely can't be in the mood to go full bore all day, every day (on second thoughts, given your occupation you just might!

If its not your daily, what are you getting around in every day?
If I may be so bold as to pry...  :happy2:

Absolutely.. I use it every day I need to drive so yeah its my daily..

The car is very very progressive, and driving around round town its lovely.. Ok the clutch is a little bit harsh (I opted for the strongest clutch I could get my hands on) as its rated to over 500ft/lbs which means it could cope with the best part of 650ft/lbs if you factor in how much margin they generally work into that..

Apart from that its great, its very easy to drive, makes 5 psi of boost at 1750rpm so its very drivable.. If you want to make progress but not go flat out then thats also very easy, you definitely feel the turbo spool and you have to adjust your throttle to suit but you can drive normal quick is speeds easily without going mad..

If your flat out and rev it then yeah its pretty mental.. But its certainly not like a switch, I think that would get boring pretty quickly if you were using it every day..
