DSG lured you back eh?  :happy2:

Must be getting old hey?!

I wouldn't go that far...  I love DSG and only a few years older than your goodself. I think with the Revo remap it turns the GTI it an even more versatile tool/toy. It makes a change to see a 'real' driver not harping on about how a real car must be a manual, it's a testament to how good the DSG box is. Let's hope it's up to the job!
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?

Dont you still have the White ed30?? or has she gone to pastures new?

Yeah same one mate, never sold it  :happy2:

That makes me laugh when people say stuff like that.. Find me a racing car that has a H-Pattern synchro mesh gearbox!! haha.. Dont think so..

There all straight cut dog gears, with sequential or pneumatic / hydaulic activation.. 'Road car' manual boxes are slow and use old technology lets face it.. I would rather go fast thanks!

....

I think the same as Dom about 'you and your cars' jonny - Your joy is in the creation and as a racing driver many other aspects are already satisfied.

The bottom line is that you are a true enthusiast and one who shares and who is always willing to help others.

Not yet, but the new owner will be taking a trip to Rev at some point for logging and the map setting up etc..

Yeah the ED30 will be mega, just had a load of bit delivered actually, hopefully they will be on later today!!  :happy2:

.... :surprised: That's an unfortunate choice of word. A fitting "closure" for Jonny would be a better sentiment.
