All in the ED30 thread on here..

I was mapped, obviously lol.. Running Revo stage 3, It just wasn't optimized 100% thats all.. There would have been another 50hp or so to come.

Yes the ED30 will be staying FWD

Jonny is caught in a revolving door full of vag and big turbos.

I'd like to say I sympathize with this dilemma, but you sound like you are having a great time! Haha

Can't believe the cars gone, the vids were unbelievable, thats mentally quick, like the 600bhp skyline I had a go in few years back! Hope it appears about next year on the pod. Let us know when you get to drive it.

Loved the comment a few pages back:
"Think ill have the TD's powder coated between times though to a textured black, pretty sick of the red now, especially as there are more and more cars popping up round here with red wheels recently.. The worst offender being a BLUE Renault Megane R26 complete with full race decals.. Hmm.. Nice!"

I've been considering red alloys on my little 197, something like this, what do think?

Thanks mate, yeah I know, but the Golf is coming along now, and only a few more days to wait until thats up and running! Jesus, going to be crazy.. Especially as there is a few inches of snow today!!

Ha, well seriously, since then there is another 4 cars, obviously the new 'thing'

I'd say yeah go for it, red wheels on a 197 would be cool, matches in perfectly with the R26.R etc..  :happy2:

Such a shame you bailed on the project before it was completed was looking forward to pod. Did the person who bought it ever get it mapped?

Well I did quite a bit to it really I thought lol.. But yeah, it wasn't 100% complete.. although, when is any big project!?

It was mapped, just the map wasn't running much ignition advance, and a little rich and relatively low boost (1.65bar peak and hold).. So there was a little more to come, but it was basically running how it should.. I guessed with the adjustments plus a little more boost we could have got close to 500hp which is about the limit on pump fuel w/o water/meth injection..

He is having it sorted yeah.. Plus, if all goes to plan he will be at Pod on 17th Jan, where he has asked me to drive it.. So we will see..

Did you ever sort the problem of bigger injectors? I guess you will always be limited by rs4 injectors capacity.
