How many 3dr Mk5 Gti's are likley to be around with this spec?

so Ive been looking for around 2 months, now after a candy white GTI (orginally thought about an ED30) but over time have come to prefer the look of the standard GTI.

Looked at a few white gti's but after xenons and leather, but all the ones i am seeing all have cloth seats and no xenons at all.

In order of preference i want :-

1. Xenons (as i think its going to be a ball ache to retrofit them to work 100% as from factory)
2. Leather heated seats (all the ones ive seen so far are all cloth and not heated)
3. Monza diamond cut wheels (not so fussed about the wheels as its easy to change them)

So i am wondering am i being too fussy expecting to find a 3dr with at least the xenons and leathers?

or maybe i'm thinking its going to be pretty rare to get a white one with this spec

Or am i just not being patient enought?

Good grief. I wasn't aware there was a Candy White GTI non-ED30 until the other day, they're pretty rare apparently... you could be hunting for months and months. The fact that I have noticed there are less three door models around too makes it all that much harder.

xenons and leather are both expensive options so would be a lot harded to come by than cheaper option , i believe Xenons were a £1200 extra and leather would be around the same if you say at the time GTI's were about 25K then these two alone added 10% to the cost ,


my candy white GTI has Xenons six disc changer in the arm rest, covered cubby and ash tray think thats the comfort pack   but no winter pack (heated jets and seats) and no leather i like the cloth seats ED30 half leather would be better

cheers guys its a bit of a pickle, do i say what the heck buy what i can find and retrofit xenons and leather sits, or do i just say right at some point ones going to come up wait.

The thing is, it may NEVER come up. Also, if you settle it might come up just after. I would say buy the closest you can get and retrofit some parts. ED30 seats come up for sale fairly regular and barely touch £900, and xenons are less.

it was a while ago when the GTI came out sure i read £1200 some where but could be wrong  . second hand sets up go for £400-£500 now dont they at least its one option that keeps its value  must rip mine off before i sell and get some cash back

well i was wrong in 2007 Xenons were £750 and leather was £1600 

so still the 10% but wrong split

liink to option price some people had too much cash to blow on a new car

Jebus... i feel lucky now!! i've got a late 08 CW 3Dr GTi and knew i had to have it as soon as i seen it advertised!! Its got the heated leather but no winder pack but no xenons..

Check mines out in the for sale bit. It's a 3 door red GTI with 6spd manual and has the best options IMO

Mine's black, but is 3dr, 18" Monza's, heated leather and will soon have Xenon style lights so almost there..!

I did look at a Grey 3dr with xenons, 18" Monzas, heated leather, your ideal spec but it was a bit of a dog with 2 services in £60k miles so walked away...

Someone at my company has a white 55 plate, 3dr, 18" Monzas, leather.. no xenons though.

You might be waiting a while!

Mine has heated leather and the 18" Monza IIs but no Xenons. Just ticked over onto 20K miles , 58 plate.  All leather seats are also heated if they came from the factory btw.
