if i do that then it sends to everyone and they all get a message off me and when they reply it just comes back from them outside of the group one and the others don't see it.

Won't the group message function only work with other iPhone users? It's an iMessage function.

If they are on Android or a phone that isn't smart, it won't work.

Yea it's just with everyone on the Internet saying it needed to be turned on and I don't have that function it seems abit strange. They all have their I message turned on to so don't see the problem. Unless everyone's software has the be the same on the latest one.?? Maybe.

The actual selection menu was removed in iOS6. Its a default function of iMessage providing you add more recipients in your iMessage. However, the recipients need to be on at least iOS5 with Group Messaging turned on, or iOS6 with iMessage turned on.

I have two mates and weve been in a group chat for some time, you all need to have imessege activated, add in who you wish to talk to and boom! Just bare in mind you cant leave it (as far as im aware) so its annoying when you trying to sleep  :happy2:
