Advice on possible sale
« on: March 18, 2013, 06:10:11 pm »
Sorry for another "what's it worth" thread, but I'm thinking of changing my car and nobody knows where it sits on a price.
I have a 10 plate MKV registered in June 2010 (one of the last registered) the spec is as follows:

3 door DSG
Grey 16,549 miles
Full leather with heated seats
18" monzas
RNS510 version H with Bluetooth
Cruise control
Reverse parking sensors
Highline
Heated mirrors with dip on reverse
iPod in armrest (redundant now because of RNS)

Car is under warranty until June and will need its first MOT then.

Any ideas what the car is roughly worth is welcome.

10 plate, blimey!! Must have been the last Mk5 EVER sold.

16k miles, good spec, nice colour. Can't price it too high as peeps would/may get an Eddy or Pirelli instead or even a Mk6 GTI which are now around for mid teens. 12k (but no idea really), maybe 13K.

Cheers MC71. It's a hard one really as there's nothing to compare it to. Had an offer from a dealer but he said no price comes up for it because of the reg.

probably the newest one at 10 plate so hard to price.

would be ideal for someone looking to buy a new but prefer the MK5

I wouldn't have believed it, until I saw your plate - looks pristine. GLWS. :happy2:

I think there are 20 about and they all sold within a couple of days of coming up for sale at a couple of VW dealerships.
All GTI's no ED30's. I drove over 300 miles each way for mine and then again to pick up.
