New Edition 30 owner
« on: March 20, 2013, 11:52:44 am »
Hi guys & Girls,

Am a happy new owner of an edition 30 GTI. Wanted one for ages and finally got one.

2008 5-dr
Steel Grey
Manual
35K
RNS510
Highline
Rear parking sensors
Lux pack
Winter pack
Bi-Xenons
6 CD changer
Build number 2142 (Just ordered Plaque from VW UK)

Some pics of it being delivered from South Wales 220miles from me:

Exhaust turned up in a terrible state, so a bit of wire wool & Autosol all good now:

Before:

After:

Just recently bought some GTI inserts for the seats, looking at some upgrades in the future once the 12 month VW warrenty runs out.

Must say excellent forum and will start a build thread next year with upgrades.

Sold the MK1 GTI for the edition 30. Pic of perfect driveway, we have a VW fetish in our household

Lovely car! What grade wire wool did you use for the exhaust? Mines looking as bad if not worse than yours!

Strange, sitting in the edition 30 & driving it reminds me of my MK1 campaign. Absolutely love it.

Agreed would of been great. Decieded to get it trailered to me as it takes the stress out of getting there etc... and it was included into the price of the car  :jumpmove:

Been thinking about Mods for the future:

Cruise Control
Revo Remap
BCS powervalve cat back
Pannel filter or maybe some induction kit
Maybe paint wheels steel grey
S3/R Brakes

That's a cracking looking Ed30, my favourite colour in SG. Slightly biased

MK1 looks a dish too. More pics of both would be cool :happy2:
