Mine's gone up by 2.49%!, I'd empty my own bin for a grand a year, even mention of having to get a permit of using the local tip!!  :fighting:

No change to ours. At least it hasn't gone up which is a bonus.

My council tax bill is frozen but police/fire charges have gone up slightly. Means an increase of just over £1 per month. Moving soon though, so I'm sure that will see a considerable increase.

We're currently really p'd off that the unoccupied/empty property discount has been scrapped!

You now have to pay the full rates on those properties now.

So no one in it (no services being used then) - pay 100%

if 1 person occupies it (services being used) - 25% discount!

How does that work???

2 lots of council tax to pay for 2 months. Fecking annoyed with the timing of this new rule. But hey ho.  :fighting:

Ours hasn't risen a penny from its near £2k for 3-4 years now but on the upside the services that the jobless, feckless and stupid peeps receive have vastly reduced, that gives me a warm feeling.
