Hi all, I've been the owner of a very tidy Golf R for 4 weeks. Not strictly appropriate for this forum but I thought I'd share anyway! When I bought it the car had been fettled a bit by the previous owner, having had an APR Stage 2+ remap with Milltek turbo back exhaust, VWR intake and APR high pressure fuel pump. The car is DSG so it's been taking a bit of getting used to coming from a manual MK5 GTI.
A few weeks back I swapped the 19" Talladega wheels (in black) for a set of Squared SC1 wheels (18"), and also stuck some Goodyear Eagle 2's on them.
Next week I'm heading to Statllers for a GIAC Stage 2 DSG remap, replacing the tiny DSG paddles with a set of longer aluminium S2T paddles, and swapping out the VWR intake for the new Revo one.
After that, my plans are for a set of H&R anti-roll bars (the car has a set of H&R Springs on it now), and a Superpro Anti-lift kit.
Yesterday I finally managed to get out on a drive and take some shots on the Yorkshire Moors, hope you like the photos!
