The 'Snow gloom/bored of the snow/cancelled plans' Thread
« on: March 23, 2013, 10:39:24 am »
Seriously bored of our ar5e about face climate. I'm sure many of you are too.

Not only are my Nankang winter tyres tucked up in the shed having been removed last weekend replaced with the original Hankook V12 evo's, but the white stuff this close to Easter has also postponed my birthday treat of driving an Evora V6 around Silverstone  :surprised: :scared:  :fighting:

Who else wants to take the weather to court?
Pete

I normally enjoy a bit of cold crisp clear weather, but enough is enough now!!! lots of plans of stuff to do, full detail of car, work around the house and garden but its either too cold, too wet, or snowing!! Looks like its another weekend of internet shopping/dreaming, dvds and food  :drinking:

Oh stop bloody moaning!!

These are the very words my wife said to me yesterday as I arrived home (p*ssed off) after a 4 hour journey that normally takes half that on a nice clear day without rain, snow, high winds and motorway accidents.

On a happy note I'm off on holiday on Thursday and its 22 C and sunny in EspaƱa at the moment.  Bring it on!!  8)  :jumpmove:

Fed up of snow too. It's all putting delays into my house build which has to be finished before my mortgage offer expires.  :sad1: Unfortunately, it can't be extended.

Cant get out on my bike and cycle  :sad1:. I don't shirk from going out when it's cold, slightly damp or windy but the weather today has killed off my usual Saturday bike ride - i'd rather be a wuss than sliding beneath the wheels of a bus  :rolleye:

Glad to know it's not just me  :happy2:

I've checked for the forecast for here and it's supposedly going to hit highs of 6 degrees on Thursday yet snowfall is predicted too?  Don't understand that truth be told  :chicken:

I cant pick up my Speedline Turinis  :sad1:

Had chance to form opinion on the Hankooks yet Pete?

They're sat nicely waiting  :innocent: I've only run the Hankooks for about four months as it came with them as bought and not really a true test as the Continental ContiSport 2's on the rear have about 3mm of tread on.

Will replace with PilotSport 3's all round very soon.
Pete
