Anthracite Monza on Blue Graphite
« on: March 07, 2013, 08:13:01 pm »
My 17" Monza are in need of a refurbishment and I fancy the idea of having them done in anthracite/new anthracite colour. But I was thinking it might look too heavy looking/too dark?

What is the difference between Anthracite and New Anthracite which I see "arthur" has on his red GTi?

Cheers

How about a smoked chrome with darker inserts? Will look less "heavy" but still a touch darker. Find a pic of RedRobin's old Monza's (somewhere on here)

I'm still really happy with my "New Anthracite" refurb.  I'm not really sure what is "new" about the colour but it is darker than your image and has a bit of a metallic effect in there!  One thing is they really match the colour of the plastic of the lower bumper and the sideskirts!

Arthur, thats what I was thinking - the anthracite colour match the unpainted dark grey plastics. And I also thought that as my GTi's colour is blue graphite, the alloys would bring more of that graphite out - if you see what I mean?

I have just got to find another set of wheels to use whilst the monza's are at Pristine.  Any ideas?
