Hi, I'm considering looking for a GTI, the MK5 attracts me cause it just seems like an all-round cool car..
I consider myself very well mechanically trained, I'm underway with a 6 month saving binge and I reckon I'll be in the 6k + my car (worth about a grand) realm..
My questions are;
1. Is there any engine codes I should stay away from?
2. What are the DSG boxes like? In terms of driving and reliability.
3. What is the worst common fault?
