Hi Lads,

Just got car remapped by Joe Power who is considered to be one of the best around these parts (Ireland)
Well i got these figures, and the car feels great at the moment.
I was originally quoted a figure of 240 bhp and only getting 225bhp but the tuner reckons the spring on the actuator is soft and is not holding boost on  the higher rev range.
He advised to tighten the spring 5mm max to that it can meet its requested boost.

Can anybody comment on this as to be quite honest the sheet means nothing to me really!!

I would check the DV first.

You got a printout of your boost line ?

To tighten up the actuator, you undo the nut, and wind in the arm in abit, tighten nut back up. You'll understand once its in front of you :) :happy2:

No i don't this is all i received off him.Is it a big job to do.I tried to Google a how to but couldn't find anything on it.
Although im happy with the car I fell im not getting the full potential of the remap.

Ive been onto him to request that now. I have worries that if i manually adjust the spring on the actuator will this throw up an error or put the car into limp mode.

All dynos are different mate - your car may well pull 240bhp on a diff dyno.

If the car feels great to you then thats good news - is it alot faster? or just a little bit? Did you do a before and after power run or just before?

Torque looks a bit peakyy and power flattens off in higher rpm. Using good fuel?

In fact, if you compare those 2 graphs it seems that you are down about 25ftlb and 25bhp by 4500rpm from what I would expect to see, can you post clearer images of the logs?

Its not the clearest image but from what i can see your specified and actual boost are not meeting each other.  I cant see the figures to clearly but it looks to be around 0.5bar difference which will give a pretty substantial power loss.  YOur requested(specified) boost seems about right for stage 1 cars as well so its not requesting too much, but the boost is being lost somewhere.

Your Intake Air temps seem smore than reasonable so its not heatsoak, But your MAF reading peak of 187g/s would only indicate around 230hp which isnt too far off whatyou rshould expect from a stage 1 on a stock intake.

Thats interesting thanks for the input i cant get decent images up. Hmmmm is this not what he was saying about not meeting requested boost in the higher rev range,because the actuator is releasing

Could well be as boost is being lost somewhere, but it could be through a few different potential locations like intercooler hoses, Diverter valve etc.  IMO a decent tuner would have looked into that for you whilst you were there so you walked out with a 100% setup.
