are mk5 gti`s to much hassel?

is there anyway to tell if your wings are rotting from the inside out? i never got chance to check as it was dark. if there bubbleing on the outside under the paint will they get replaced?

Best way to tell, is to take the arch liner out --- there is a good hit rate on the number of VW claims.

ALL cars, not just Mk5 GTI's can have minor problems and ALL cars need to be well maintained. The average car has over 5,000 components, any of which can need attention.

I've had my Mk5 DSG GTI for nearly 8 years from new and enjoyed 106,000 miles without any really serious problems.
