Killinator's 2.0 litres of happyness
« on: February 11, 2013, 03:45:14 pm »
Bought my GTI a year ago, had plans on a 1.8 Polo GTI in candy white but at the last moment the seller decided he loved it too much! :sad1:
As Polo GTIs of the variety I wanted are so rare over here, I said to hell with it(and with some persuasion from my twin ) I'm getting a GTI

This was it on purchase day(well it was Winter)
Bits of dirt are from the 3 hours of driving before I got home!

You done the same as me, i was looking at polo gti's but i notice the price was very similar to the golf so that made my mind up

Also got the same colour gti as you, looks smart. Whats the head unit, looks perfick mix of aftermarket meets factory look?

Good price aswell. After using it how do you rate it?

I really like it, had it since christmas and no complaints,
The home screen is a bit cluttered and I would prefer a ew more wallpaper choices but other than that it seems a great unit.
Maps are up to date and it has a nice reverse camera feature which automatically switches on hen you switch into reverse,
though you have to buy the camera seperate, its linked on the ebay page.

Also importantly the sound distribution seems ALOT better than the standard unit.
