ask them to do it again

Judging from their first try I'd not bother, ask for a refund and go elsewhere

Where was the garage that you used?

Local garage in Swindon, came recommended by a friend.

Going to call him up tomorrow and recored the conversation then go and visit while recording also, so he cant worm his way out of it. I think its only fair to give him the opportunity to either do it properly or give my money back? Obviously I don't want him to do it again, I want my money back.

Would you say I shouldn't even offer the opportunity to do it again? I want to be 'fair' in case I have to take it any further.

Legally you have to give him the opportunity to sort it.

Just make clear your expectations of the job. And that you'll be back if it flakes off within the year

Not prepared properly, either no primer flatted back/key or no plasticiser, either way crap job, send it back and ask them to do it properly.

Not yet, I phoned up today but the guy that did it wasn't there today. I'm going to head there tomorrow. Here's hoping!

Is this what you paid for?  :jumping:

If so I'd wrap it round the guys neck  :fighting:

Apart from the obvious part where the paint has flaked off, what about all the other dings and scratches in it?

I would get down there asap mate, regardless of whether the person that done it is there or not, make the garage aware of the work and state that you want it sorted as a matter of urgency...

Fook that's a p155 take of a job.  I'd be getting my money and going elsewhere, you get what you pay for with paint jobs, how much did that cost?
