Search results...only 2009 and older?!

Am I going mad...I've just tried searching for a few pretty basic terms (e.g. "forge" "downpipe") and the only results were from 2009.

Even in advanced search and making sure the "message age" is set from 0 to 9999, the word "R32" only returns hits in 2010.

Is anyone else seeing similar?

I may be wrong but I dont think the forum is that old... I dont know the exact year the forum was opened but I wouldnt be suprised if it was in 2009. I dont think the forum was open when I got my GTI back in 2008 although I may be wrong!

I have noticed the same thing.. I get around this by searching in google, just use the site:* option to narrow search to only this forum.

i think search only shows a set amount of results, like 10, and they are in date order, so 2008-2009?

^^^^ that's what I've found in the past.

If your searching common items such as Forge, downpipe etc you'll get the early results. I use the search on here and google/safari which often comes back to here anyway.
