K03/K04 turbo has a built in manifold to hotside so you cant change it.
Is it 100% the gasket as its also likely to be the pants welds on the downpipe. Pop the whole pipe off and check for cracks around the flange.
100% not the downpipe,
It started doing it whilst me standard d/p was fitted, when i changed this for my milltek one we smoke tested the car, we found it leaking from the manifold,
On further inspection we found a black soot around one side of the manifold where it bolts to the engine, on slight revs you can hear it blowing aswel!
Im just wanting to know how big a job it is to just replace the gasket between manifold and engine?
We tried to nip the bolts up but it didnt solve anything so looks to be the gasket that is fooked
