Headlight bulb
« on: April 01, 2013, 09:02:08 pm »
Just had my driver's side dipped bulb go today and wondering if it's really tight to get at with your hands.

Sometimes can be really awkward to get the bulb out and replacement in...

Anyone done their driver's side??

Cheers

these bulbs are really easy as they have a removeable holder that rotates in to lock.
just done the side parking light which was a real nasty as you can't see anything, all done by touch, supposed to just pull out, but could not get enough grip with pinching 2 fingers, used long nosed pliers and eventually the holder came out of its tube with bulb on the end...

Really easy to change. I change both dipped and main beam H7 bulbs last year with Osram nightbreakers.

All you do is  from memory, put your behind the H/L unit and there is a light grey plastic holder, turn it quarter turn (not sure if it is anti or clockwise) and the holder comes away, with the bulb in sutu, then pull the bulb out, put the new bulb in and put the unit back turning the opposite to what you did to undo.    It tell you in the manual.

As above.   If I can do it then it must be easy!
