Flat bottom steering swap over
«
on:

Hi everyone
I have a 05 GTI DSG but my car does not have a paddle shift on the steering wheel. I have a flat bottom steering but no paddles.
How hard would it be to fit one? My car has the grey interior so will be harder to find a steering.

you need a new wheel with paddles, highend controller and mfsw loom
new black airbag cover can be fitted to your airbag or buy another airbag

Thanks Eddie
I am just wondering if its worth all the work. I wonder how hard it would be to find a dark grey steering.
What do you recon all that would cost excluding the steering?

Hi Eddie
I got myself a MFSW steering out of 30Edition. Could I use the high end controller from the same car and would you know what the wiring for the steering looks like so i can get it?
Sorry about all the questions.
Thanks
Frans

To retrofit MFSW you'll need loom 1K0971584C for the buttons to work.
I think Omeydz had a couple for sale.

Hi
Just my luck, i bought a MFSW but its the wrong color. Its from a 30 Edition with all the button's and DSG paddles in black with red stitching.
I need a grey one. Does the DSG MFSW come in grey?
