hi everyone  

sorry for the long time with no posting from me after my "intro"http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,16492.msg239071.html#msg239071

but here i am to introduce you to my Ed30.

as i said in my intro, it's a '09 Golf MK5 GTI Edition 30 (produced in February 2008)
from purchase date until now it suffered with some mods.

here is some that i remeber of:

Exterior:
-front lip lower section painted in gloss black
-rear spoiler center section painted in gloss black
-refurbished 18'' Pescara's painted in gloss black and machined edge
-center grill wraped with carbon vinyl from 3M
-wing mirrors wraped with carbon vinyl from 3M
-front VW badge wraped with carbon vinyl from 3M
-front fogs with yellow lamin-x
-front and rear GTI badges in red
-smoked In-Pro wing mirror indicators

Suspension
-Eibach Sportline spring
-Bilstein B8 shocks
-Powerflex and/or Whiteline poly bushes all around

Brakes
-EBC Red Stuff pads at front and rear
-Neuspeed stainless steel brake lines

Interior
-Polar Fis Adv.
-Black/Chrome finish switches from Golf MK6
-brushed stainless steel with red GTI seat inserts

Engine/Performance
-K&N panel filter
-Rev D DV
-Rev N PVC

Interested in the Polar FIS thing, do you need the bluetooth module for this? Would love that on mine!

for the polar fis you only need the full MFD (multi functional display) that came on the highline clusters..
this can also emulate the bluetooth in the MFD if you have the newer modules that only works with white clusters

I have a full MFD on my clocks. I don't want Bluetooth but I would love that!

as i said before, if you the full MFD it'll work 
you only need that and the MFSW (multi functional steering wheel) or the wiper stalk controls to the MFD.
if you meet 2 of the above requirements, that's all you need to work with Polar Fis.
the installation is very easy, you only neet to unplug the cable that runs to the Can Gateway and connect it to Polar Fis module and then connect the module to Can Gateway with the provided cable.
