Kenwood DNX521DAB Speed Camera Alerts

I installed the Kenwood DNX521DAB unit 2 weeks ago and have loaded the speed cams on there from PocketGPSWorld. The thing goes crazy with the beeps/bongs as it seems to be alerting me for cameras and speed zone changes and if I'm above the speed limit (even by 1mph).

Is there a way to be alerted only for the speed cameras?

Hope someone with this unit can help as I have currently turned off the alerts as it was so annoying/distracting.

I have posted on PocketGPSWorld but that forum is nowhere near as frequented as this great site

No experience of this HU, but I use the same database on my Zenec and RNS510.

With the Zenec there is a menu in Warning's where I can 'alert only when speeding', would be surprised if the Kenwood doesn't have a similar option.
As for multiple warnings, maybe there is an option to 'alert only on route', or turn off repeat warnings for the same.

Have a play in the menu's see what's available.

I did have a quick play around with the nav settings but it seems pretty limited in terms of warnings, i.e. just on or off.

Maybe need to take another look.
