Only a Vxr would be which is turbo. Although, I do agree, turbo would make what sounds like a good car great.

You can dress it up how you like, it's still a Corsa.
As far as NA engines go, Honda has a 240bhp from a 2.0 in the S2000 which has legendary mechanical reliability.. I just think they got to 200 and thought "that'll do..." , that's all.  :rolleye:

A scathingly brilliant purchase.

Forget about more power, those that "get" these cars know it doesn't need it.  :happy2:

I "get" the car Mike and for those who like their tail end loose it is full of win.  :happy2:

Personally I'd like it more with FI more power and better traction around corners and in the wet and in the cold and in the snow and ice

Ahh, I didn't quite mean it like that.

It has perfect power:grip, so you can drive it ten-tenths laughing like an absolute goon and barely even need to break the speed limit. It harks back to the 205 GTI etc era, where things were HUGE fun without being rocketship fast.

I'd love one as a toy, as mine's a bit of a risk on the road given you squeeze it in 3rd and it'll be doing 110 in the blink of an eye - that's a lot of driving ban for some fun  :sad1:
Sideways yo!

Theres no way of hiding the fact that 200bhp is gonna seem a bit flat if youre used to ~300bhp and 300ftlbs...even if it does handle really well.

These need JAPin' up a bit in my opinion... they looks a bit vanilla otherwise.

It will always split opinion. One of my workmates has one in metallic white with black stripes down the side and over the top. His missis works for Toyota so he got a great deal on it. They look superb and remind me a little of the old Nissan 240Z but updated. I'm sure Subaru will bring out an STI version at some point and then it will make people think twice.
Golf R gone.

Yup, like anything the first versions will be 'cooking' and then they'll bring out various specials with even more lunacy.

Dale's got a couple of modded BRZ's at the Ring, 220hp, lightened, Ohlins etc etc etc... I'm looking forward to a go in one.

It's Walsall. Are you a local then?

Russ looked after my scirocco and both my parents cars as well as my gt86 now - really can't fault his work!

I love these, look cool inside and out, comfy and a great driving position. Havent driven one but i hear its pretty much the most fun you can have on four wheels. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this

I don't get why they couldn't have made it the most fun and fast though? Without a doubt  they will release faster ones, a STI version of the BRX has been announced and there is loads of turbo kits available also. But to be fair they do already look fast!

Get some rota grids on her, lowered and she'll be looking purdy!
