Guys , ive got this fault and i found some answers online

Is there another way to do this as in is it still under warranty ? can i get VW to do it. My car is a 55 plate 1.9tdi

I did that procedure on my tdi and never had the fault return.

I had this come up a few week back. I just went under the seat and made sure the yellow clips were all Intact and clipped in.

Scanned and cleared and the light and erroe cleared.

Clear the fault first and see what happens.. air bag faults are permanent (that meaning, they won't self-clear on their own, you need to clear the fault with a machine).

contact oil has solved the errors i have had with the seat airbags, so far no need for soldering
