Regas aircon now fan constantly on!! help

Hello all

Cut long story short  had my air con regas up its not worked since had the car, had it on the vag for checks come up no fault just low on gas, so took it to car air con specialist, we first checked it for leaks which we didnt have , then we regas it up, air con still wasnt working he said electrical fault to take it to my usually vw garage, most likely compressor or the switch. Now both my fans constantly on sounds like blo#dy hoover on  , if i put heating on both fans come on straight away if turn heater off both turn off so for now my heaters stay off, incase fans burn out, has anybody had same problem??? why have my fans just started to come on because never heard then come on before previous having the air con done

I know it's no help but mine does the same, with the air con on the fan is going and sounds like a Hoover and just blows warm air.

Had a pressure test and regas and changed my cabin filter and still the same. Would love to know what's wrong.

isnt there a temp sensor down there somewhere? maybe someone more knowledgeable will be here to help soon

It sounds like your AC is in the 'ON' position (Or ECON light is not lit, on the older models). Try pressing this AC / ECON button when your blowers are switched on

thanks john    i will give this a try see how i get on!! the problem i have is cant get to my garage for next 3 weeks due to work etc so be nice to know what the problem is incase damage being caused, both fans on constantly cant be healthy!!
