Hello from another TDI owner.

I had my remap done by Awesome Tuning in Manchester. Great service and great price,  I would recommend going there. The extra power is very noticeable and it gave me a few extra mpg on the motorway too.

Also I hear Shark Tuning in Mansfield are very good if you are around the Midlands.

Cheers

Im from warwickshire, in the midlands so maybe, shark tuning would be better for me, what gains did you see and how much did it cost you?

I have the CR engine and I'm guessing you have the PD so slightly different but you should get around 35hp.  The difference is massive, especially through midrange, It turns into an overtaking dream. I've been caught out a few times when i have gone to overtake a car and come out doing triple figures on the other side.

A good remap should be around 300 to 400 ish for your engine.  I would check Sharks website to see if they have a dealer closer to you as i know they have a few down south.

Welcome to the forum. I did a lot of research before I got my remap and I came to the conclusion that revo software was the best. I had min mapped at r-tech in liecester. Took me from 140-177 bhp without any other mods. I think it was around 275 pound.

Hope this helps

Mods done: revo map, new south boost gauge, rcd510 dab, gti grill, gti colour coded valance, tinted lights, leds, gti spoiler

I did ring them and he sounded very clued up on his vag stuff, but im always hearing about the revo maps but he charged £400 so if they do it at r-tech for £275 I think ill hit them up, if not I will most likely head to cannock
