Removing b & c post interior trims ???
« on: March 21, 2013, 02:25:57 pm »
Hi guys need your help, I'm in the process of changing the roof liner in my 5 door golf, just looking for someone who has done it or knows how to remove the trims without damage , or has a guide on how it's done, any help would be grand.

IIRC most of the trim is clipped in. Screws are hidden behind the 'airbag' badges/clips. A good set of plastic trim tools are ideal.

Once the hex bolts are out they need a good hard pull to come off and a PITA to put back on.

Did the interior in my GT TDI last year - just take your time.

I found getting the rear quarters and the B pilars back in the car was the hardest part.

I did mine at the weekend.  Will get pics up of the c pillars, suprisingly easy once youe see how its put together.
