Sorry to hear this :sad1:  Did they nick the keys?

What's the number plate, perhaps peeps in the area can keep an eye out tonight.

Feel for you, my other halfs car got broken into for what I think was to steal the car and a mates old Escort 2door estate was nicked the next night, police has just rang and said the DVLA has reported that its been crushed and are trying to trace the culprit as you have to have ID to scrap anything, any bets its a fake ID.

Hope yours turns up

Fortunately not burgled for the keys, grateful for that at least, was my first fear as female and live alone - must have been lifted onto a truck - probably sometime between midnight and 6am best guess

First half of reg is HD05 (prefer not to give whole number if that's ok)

Quite a rare colour, especially in 3 door guise (although it was rather grubby)

Pissed off, not the words!

I work in the SM5 area. I'll keep an eye out.  Gutted doesn't quite say how I feel for you.

Gutting. Hope you get things sorted.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

being lifted makes it worse .seems like they came for your car and not anything that gave the opportunity to be nicked , sorry to say nicked your car to order

I think you're right unfortunately :(

I guess it's a car, but just so much hassle, I was rather fond of old Gretel and it'll no doubt cost me a load of cash  :sad1:
