Look in the forum classifieds and ebay.... Parts fetch big money, and sadly most people don't care that their lovely seats/RNS/GTI front end/wheels are off a stolen car.
Sideways yo!

I’m guessing it's probably this below rather than someone wanting an 8 year old motor:

No sign of the car   :sad1:

Paperwork has gone to insurance, awaiting offer, then the hunt starts for a new motor

In the meantime, I have a 1.4 Corsa automatic, what a beast

What have the police said? I really hope you get it back in one piece though.

Don't let these scum get you down.

Policeman thought I might get it back, I don't have much hope.  I hope they don't find it, as the only key is now with the insurance company

Ultimately, it's a car, no 3rd party involved, no one injured, I am insured.  It's just bloody inconvenient as I now have to argue with the insurance company no doubt over value and find another car...and I only actually like red and blue in the Golf GTI palette - and blue are evidently like hen's teeth (and I wouldn't want another anyhow given what happened)

I've seen a red one which would do, but it's 40 miles away, the other side of London - just hassle to spend what little free time I get car seeking

That's the plan, simply as I don't know what else I'll get for the money that's as quick and good to drive  :driver:
