Boot Pop Question
« on: April 09, 2013, 05:15:36 pm »
Both of my pump stops have snapped and they was on one click, however I've put my original ones back in for now...

The only weird thing is when I swapped them over with the originals, the boot can still open by itself when pressing the button of the fob... Surely the bump stops help the boot open? So do I reaaaaallly have to replace them?

Cheers

Jonny

I'd say keep the originals if you're having no issues with the boot opening with them. The springy stoppers are only there for the initial kick to get the lid moving. You will also reduce the panel gap back to normal. I find the springy ones increase the gap even on no clicks out.

Cheers Matto, I'll just keep an eye on it, just annoying they've gone after two weeks... not like I'm always in the boot either
