My car's booked in friday for the recall will my car have to be un-modified to have the recall done? All I have is a CAI

How do we check if the car is affected by the recall?

My car was heavily modified and it was fine.

They are replacing them because some of the older coil packs caused a fire in one or 2 cars so being modified has nothing to do with it.

I think most are affected just ring VW.  Cheers guys the bad news is one of my coilpacks died today so I have no car until friday :( I am going to ring tomorrow to see if they can fit it in sooner as it's only a 10 minute job

Mine melted the coilpack and the harness plug! VW replaced both and the other 3 coilpacks FOC under the recall!!

my cupra was modifed when i took mine in for coil pack recall no problems athough it made no noticable difference so must of been alright anyway!
