Derbyshire/Notts Meet - 19th May
« on: April 12, 2013, 04:05:58 pm »
Hi Folks,

just trying to see what interest there would be in doing a Derbyshire meet now the weather is sort of picking up! As there doesnt seem to be many going on in this region

I'm thinking along the lines of once a month on a Sunday, maybe incorporate some food or a drink somewhere.

Places where i've been to meets or heard of previously

* East Midland Designer outlet - off the A38 / Junction 28 M1
* Kingsway Retail Park - Derby
* Meteor Centre - Derby
* Giltbrook Retail Park (Ikea) - Kimberley, Notts
* Hurt Arms - Ambergate, DE56

These are a few idea's but any input would be much appreciated.

And as a starting point i'd suggest either Sunday 28th April or Sunday 5th May and then try and make it either every first or last Sunday of the month

Let me know if you're interested and if you have any good places to suggest!

 :happy2:

Date & Venue decided

Sunday 19th May @ 4pm

Eaton Farm
Wilsthorpe Road
Long Eaton
NG10 4AW

Interested.

+1. Derby sounds good to me. There are a couple more on here who may come. Mike when he gets his car back and I think Luka is from Derby too.

Just spoke to Mike and he says +1 for Giltbrook but also to throw another couple of places in the mix.

Bartlewood Lodge (mike is a carvery whore) and Eaton Farm at Long Eaton. Bit more choice for food there.
