Economical run around
« on: April 11, 2013, 03:53:00 pm »
After something cheap and cheerful as a daily runaround for about town and rare motorway journey. Looking to spend 2-3K max but the less the better. Ideally something Japanese or German. Not too fussed about petrol or diesel. Something that looks good with a nice interior would be a bonus.

What sort of real world MPG do golf tdi's achieve

Was also thinking along lines of aygo, Lupo and Honda jazz. Any pretty dire looking cars tho :(

^ THIS  :happy2: Bought a mk4 estate derv for work last year, my nightly commute returns around 40+mpg and just shy of 350 miles on a full tank.
