Hi from the Isle of Man
« on: April 04, 2013, 11:58:23 am »
Hi, I'm Nick, 23 from the Isle of Man. This is my 5th golf now, 3 mk3 gti, 1 mk4 v6 4motion and the mk5 is my * ''sensible'' daily driver / occasional toy. (*More sensible than my nissan anyway   )

^^The red gti is mine, the silver derv is my sisters 170..

05 (was on a 55 plate)
5 Door
DSG
Got it with 48k now upto 61k in 8 months

Plan is to keep it fairly sensible and reasonably economical..... but i said i'd build the nissan on a budget, it now owes me over £10k :/

So far I've fitted:

A towbar to carry my trials motorbike around
Blueflame suitcase delete pipe
Removed the front number plate 'brick'
Removed the GTI badges as the local kids kept trying to race me

And spent a good bit on keeping it healthy including the dreaded timing chain rattle.

Cheers Nick :)

PS

Pic of the silly nissan for anyone interested...
