USRT Spacer
« on: April 13, 2013, 09:19:39 am »
I read somewhere that you have to remove the intake manifold to fit the spacer kit.

Can anyone confirm ?

The one I do.  Fits really well.  Spacer screws to the inlet then the tb to the spacer.

What's the point of the spacer?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Two things really.  Allows a larger throttle body to be fitted and it has a port to inject water meth.

I just spent £100 for the spacer from USRT but Alex may have it cheaper.

Are we talking about the R32 TB Alex? I haven't found much info about the larger TB solutions on the mk5 platform

Over the top mod list ;o)
