Teng tools
« on: April 14, 2013, 07:36:26 pm »
Hello all

I'm looking for some tools just for DIY use, I've seen plenty of teng tools on eBay at decent prices and was just wondering if teng tools are any good? Anyone use these tools?

I use a lot of their tools at work (with them being Scandinavian) and they can take a bit of abuse.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Halfords Pro range are also worth a look, and usually have a sale of some sort on the kits.

I buy my tools based on how often they will be used.  My high use tools are usually more expensive/good quality.
We use Teng tools at work and they seem ok.  I rate the Halfords Professional range.  They are great quality and well priced with a lifetime guarantee.  I also buy Snap-On Bluepoint tools as well.  My twisted spanners are Bluepoint and were the best tool purchase i've ever made.
