New Edition 30 Owner
« on: April 14, 2013, 08:24:58 am »
Hello,

Was looking at getting an edition 30 golf about a year ago but finally got round to purchasing one last month and love it.

Had a supercharged civic type-r last year and it is not yet in the same league in terms of performance. But it is a far better every day car and I plan on getting an induction kit, tbe and remap which should make it a little more exciting :)

Car itself is a has 20K on the clock, and is a DSG.

Thanks, can see the car becoming a money pit but don't have to do it all in a rush.

No and going to have to get it back up for sale shortly :( Have taken a new job which I start next month and don't think they will tolerate visible mods, as will need to use the car to meet clients and on occasions driving them around.

Love the car anyway and if I get the option of a company car I may keep it and do some mods in the future.

I know it wont be loud but it would be declared and go on my insurance certificate which they have requested. Its a new job and I want to make the right impression, sure Ill have another modified car in a year or two but not right now.

Car looks lovely mate. But just a side note with regards to the possible exhaust modification. If you still wanted to proceed with changing the exhaust but were apprehensive due to your new employers requesting a copy of your insurance certificate, this wouldn't be a problem as the certificate of insurance does not give any details of modifications, it only shows the registration number of your vehicle so you would be fine. Just thought this might be of some help to you mate.
